View Lizzie's Air Program Celebrates 1 Millionth Passenger

Beau Riva State Resorts & Casino welcomed its 1 millionth charter flight passengers to Gulfport-Biloxie International Airport. The milestone was made on Sun Country Flight SCX 8179 departing from St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport at 12:40 p.m. local time. Passengers on the 173-seat Sun Country 737-800 aircraft received a water cannon salute on the tarmac along with Beau Riva State charter service staff, Gulfport-Biloxie International Airport staff, elected officials and dignitaries. Cakes, champagne, commemorative gifts and photos were also accompanied by a red carpet welcome.

Beau Riviera's planned charter flight program officially began in 2009 following a $550 million resort renovation following Hurricane Katrina, and has been in partnership with Sun Country Airlines since 2014. Since its inception, the program has operated more than 8,000 flights in 90 cities across the country, from Minneapolis to Miami and New Hampshire to West Texas.

"International guests from all over the MGM Resort love to visit the Gulf Coast, and our goal of this program has always been to make the trip as easy as possible," said Brandon Dardau, Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of View Ridge. "The charter program elevated the entire Mississippi Coast, including the 1,740-room AAA for Diamond Resort on Biloxi Beach, from a local destination to a national market."

Clay Williams, executive director of Gulfport-Biloxie International Airport, said, "BorLiva has worked strategically over the years to grow its air charter program exponentially, attracting visitors to the coast from 90 cities across the United States. With these efforts to attract additional flight visitors, the BorLiva Aviation Program has grown to account for approximately 25% of Gulfport-Biloxie International Airport air service."

The tier-by-tier price packages offered to casino players and leisure travelers include round-trip airfare, overnight stays, baggage delivery services, and round-trip transportation between the resort and GPT. Since its inception, the air charter program in the province of Bali has generated 1.6 million hotel room stays at the resort. With two flights per day in and two flights out, the program stays in seven different cities each night, on average. The most popular travel markets include Detroit, St. Louis, San Antonio, Richmond, and Macon, Georgia. St. Pete is the No. 1 market.  슬롯사이트
